Kimberly K. Wright

Kimberly K. Wright, 64, Napoleon, MI, went home to be with the Lord on June 17, 2024. After a long battle with lung disease.

Kim was born May 4th, 1960, in Jackson, MI to Phyllis (Wilmoth) and John Wright. She is survived by her siblings Renee Miles, Linda (Doug) Sosa, Mike (Pam) Donley, Mark (Pat) Donley, Jim Donley, several nieces, and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews and close friends she regarded as family. We cannot forget the joy of her life, her dog Skeeter.

Kim enjoyed traveling to see the lighthouses on the lakes. Her favorite times were spent at Higgins Lake with her family. She enjoyed working with technology and finding different gadgets to mess with. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima. She enjoyed going to church each week and driving her friends who needed a ride to church, then going to breakfast.

Per her request cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will take place at Watson Funeral Chapel Saturday, June 29th at 11:00am. Family will receive friends for visitation starting at 10am until time of service with Pastor Kate Schroeder officiating. A brief interment will take place following the service at Maxon Cemetery in Jackson, MI. Following a meal will be provided for family and friends at Swains Lake Stone Shelter (7400 Pulaski Rd. Concord, MI). Please feel free to come to share the memories.

Due to her love for dogs, Kim has requested donations in lieu of flowers to be made to Erin’s Angels. Donations can be made by cash, check, Venmo is EGSNiPNow or you can call Fieldstone Vet at 517-437-0171. Erin Angel’s rescues animals, heals them if needed and finds them a good home. She is based in Quincy, MI.
