A Life Remembered: Kevin Charles Johnson, 1957-2025
Spring Arbor, MI - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kevin Charles Johnson, who went home to be with the Lord on July 13, 2025 at the age of 67. Kevin was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Born on February 10, 1957 in Park Rapids, MN, Kevin was the Son of Neva and Lloyd. He spent his early childhood in Worthington, MN before moving to Jackson and graduating from Jackson High School in 1975. Kevin had an entrepreneurial spirit that helped him develop several businesses, but his true passion lied with family and building close relationships. Despite all the challenges Kevin faced throughout his life, he will be most remembered for his smile and enduring positivity. Kevin was always excited to see you, always excited to say hello. But it usually didn’t stop with just a hello - Kevin had a way of making you feel important. He cherished every moment he had, and he loved sharing those moments with others. Kevin will be remembered for his courage. He will be remembered for his terrible jokes. He will be remembered for his light-heartedness, his love for family and friends.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Peggy; his children, Scott (Megan) and Amy (Aaron); his grandchildren, Nora, Walter, Jack, Charlie, and Ben; and his brother, Steve (Diane).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Neva; and a brother, Gary.
A memorial service to celebrate Kevin’s life will be held on July 18, 2025 at 12:00 noon with visitation preceding from 10-12:00 at Ganson St. Baptist in Jackson, MI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Have Faith Haiti in Kevin Charles Johnson’s memory.
Kevin will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.
