Kenneth Jessie Taylor

Kenneth J. Taylor, Age 77, passed away on February 4, 2026.

He was born on September 4, 1948, in Marshall, Michigan to Kenneth Abram Taylor and Olive (McMurtrie) Taylor. 

Kenneth attended East Intermediate Schools and worked as refuse collector for many years until he retired in September 2025. He was married to Kathy (Pierce) Taylor for 41 years and together, they had four children, many, many Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.

He loved restoring cars, bowling, camping and playing cards with his wife, Kathy and their friends and family. Kenneth was a devoted member of the 7th Day Adventist Church. 

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Kathy and their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Kennth and Olive Taylor as well as his uncles.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kenneth’s honor can be made to the Jackson Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 3600 County Farm Road, Jackson, Michigan  49201. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am at Jackson Seventh-Day Adventist Church – 3600 County Farm Road, Jackson, MI.  49201.  Interment following at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
