Kenneth Scheu Obituary

Kenneth Lester Scheu passed away on Sept 1, 2022.  He was born June 16, 1941, the second son to Lester and Louise Scheu in Akron, Ohio.  He spent his youth and school years in that area.  He went to Purdue on a football scholarship but determined that college wasn’t for him and after 2 years he dropped out and joined the Air Force.  He was stationed at Lockbourne AFB in Columbus, Ohio.  While there he met his future bride, Linda Adkins.  They married in 1965 and together they had 3 daughters, Lori Elizabeth (Pellicano), Kelly Leigh Scheu, and Kacey Louise (Brindle).   He leaves behind his wife of 57 years; his three girls and their spouses, Mario Pellicano, Patty Doerr, and Dave Brindle; one grandson Allex Pellicano (and his wife Mary), two granddaughters, Andrea and Julianna Pellicano; two brothers, Richard Scheu and Eric Scheu. He was predeceased by his parents and one brother, James Scheu.

Ken loved fishing!  He is/was “The Bluegill King”.  He loved cooking and was good at it!  He also loved to play euchre and took great joy in ordering you up on nothing but still winning the hand!  He loved popcorn and made some 3 or 4 times a week.
