Kathy Sue Suliman

Our loving Mom and Grandma passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 1, 2023. She was born May 16, 1956 in Jackson, Michigan. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Carol A. (Mayo) and Milton C. Parks, and her husband, William Douglas Suliman in 2019. Surviving are her 2 children, Ryan D. Suliman (Carmen L. Frey), and Angela M. Suliman (James R. Dokurno); 3 grandchildren, Samantha L. Suliman, Chase D. Suliman, and Julia M. Dokurno; 2 sisters, Sandra (Steve) Lane and Denise (Keith) Phillips; brother, Chuck (Denise) Parks; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Kathy loved spending time with her family, taking walks, shopping and vacationing to Florida and Myrtle Beach. Kathy treasured the holiday season because of the extra time she got to spend with family. She was a pet parent to her sweet dog, Lucy, who recently passed. Kathy was a patient account representative at the University of Michigan. Kathy showed all those around her what it meant to be kind, thoughtful, and loving. She will be missed by many.

The visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Friday, October 6,, 2023, at Watson Funeral Chapel. The celebration of Kathy’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Watson Funeral Chapel, 2590 Spring Arbor Road, Jackson, MI 49203 with Pastor Kenny Seidler. The interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery on Loveland Road in Waterloo, MI. For those wishing, contributions in memory of Kathy may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
