Julie Oberlin

Julie Marie Oberlin of Jackson, MI passed away at home surrounded by family on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at the age of 54. She was the daughter of John (Kathy) Oberlin and Carol (Cy) Richards, born October 14, 1968 in Jackson, MI. Julie is survived by her daughter, Sierra Rogers; granddaughter, Aviana; her parents; brother, Mark Oberlin; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Mary Peckham.

Julie is a graduate of Vandercook Lake High School Class of 1986. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Baker College in 2017. Julie worked as a General Accounting Analyst for Consumers Energy for 28 years of service. She loved being outside, running, shopping, her animals, and spending time with her family. Julie will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 2:00pm. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until the time of service at 2:00pm.
