Judith M Soles

Judith M. “Judy” Soles passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, at the Jackson County Medical Care Facility in Jackson, Michigan, surrounded by the love of her family.

During the last two years of her life, Judy received exceptional care from the staff at JCMCF. Even as she faced the challenges of dementia, she never lost sight of what mattered most. She still recognized her family and continued to find comfort in the visits, conversations, and love shared by family and friends.

Judy’s life was defined by love, devotion, and selflessness. She was a beloved wife, a devoted mother, a proud grandmother and great-grandmother, and a loyal friend. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—gardening, cooking, canning, and creating a warm and welcoming home—but her greatest happiness came from caring for the people she loved.

Judy is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Clifford Soles, whom she married on July 7, 1962. She also leaves behind four sons: Cliff Jr. (Lisa), Andy, Rick (Robin), and Rock (Alicia); her eleven cherished grandchildren: Ryan, Tyler, Brynn, Max, Jennifer, Jayden, Rayne, Shadi, Grant, Grayson, and Gabby; seven great-grandchildren; her brother, Bill Cote; and her sister, Rose Marie Mault.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Mary Cote, and her sister, Gerrie Hommerding.

Judy will be forever loved, forever remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of all who knew her.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026 at Watson Funeral Chapel – 2590 Spring Arbor Road, Jackson, Michigan with Visitation from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am.  Pastor Crystal Watts, Officiating with burial immediately following at Jones Cemetery.
