Judith Mary Humphreys

Judith Mary Humphreys, of Jackson passed away Monday, October 2, 2023 at the age of 84. Judy was the daughter of George and Mary (Yancey) McPherson, born December 16, 1938, in Jackson, Michigan. Judy is survived by two daughters, Amy S. (Troy) Annis, and Mary Jo (Mike) Hills; four grandchildren, Tyler S. Annis, Dylan A. Annis, Jared M. (Emily) Hills, and Jordyn L. (Steven) Bilski; three great-grandchildren, Liam Hills, Lynnae Hills and Colton Annis; sister Georgia G.”GG” (Robert) Coy; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her husband Calvin, infant daughter Robyn Lyn, her sister Elaine (Vincent) Oliver and her parents.  

Judy was a 1957 graduate of Jackson High School. Judy worked several years for the City of Jackson and later retired from Kelly Distributing in 1988. Judy enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafts and vacationing with family. She was an avid MSU and Detroit Tiger baseball fan. According to her wishes cremation will take place. 

A Celebration of her life will be held at Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 11:00am with Michael D. Mason officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Henry Ford Hospice Home in Jackson.  The family will receive friends from 10:00am until the time of service.
