John Keith Mason

John (Jack) K. Mason, loving husband, brother, father, and grandfather, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.  John grew up in Waldron, Michigan, where he met the love of his life, LaDonna.  He retired from Consumers Energy where he enjoyed working for 46 years.  Some of his favorite hobbies included golfing, fishing, building and flying RC planes, horseback riding, and gardening.  John was known for his unrelenting love and support of his family.  He was thoughtful, dependable, and caring, and was well-respected by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, LaDonna; his son, Steven; his mother and father, Famie and Lyle; his sister, Helen; and his brothers, Robert and Wendell.  He is survived by his sister, Shirley; his daughters, Marcie and Becky; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Kevin), Jill, Brandon (Cassie), and Ashley; and his good friend, Ellen Graves.  The family would like to thank Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice for their wonderful care and support.
