Joey Robert Meade

Joey Meade, 52, of Jackson passed away unexpectedly on Friday November 12 2021 at Allegiance Hospital in Jackson with loved ones by his side.  He was the son of Patricia McCulley and Billy Meade Sr. born on September 7th 1969 in Jackson MI.  He is survived by his daughters Brittany Meade and Sierra Meade, his grandchildren Elijah Squires, Levi Squires, Kaden Meade and Dakota Meade, His brothers Troy Meade, Bill Meade, Chris Meade, Ben Meade and James McCulley as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his parents Billy Meade Sr. and Patricia McCulley.  He worked several years delivering and selling auto parts as well as working the lumber yard.  He was avid in various sports, played on softball team for years and was part of a bowling league. He enjoyed billiards and darts. Music was a very big part of his life. He played drums with different bands and did lights and sound board. 

A celebration of his life will be held at Watson Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 12pm with Michael D. Mason officiating.  Interment will be at Pulaski Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Watson Funeral Chapel to help the family with expenses.  There will be visitation is at Watson Funeral Chapel at 11am-12pm.
