Joan E. Bertalon

Joan E. Bertalon, of Horton, passed away January 11, 2021 age 78 years. She was born March 7, 1942 to Merle and Pauline (Wetzel) McCarroll who preceded her in death along with her daughter Paula. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Roger, one daughter Kelly (Jeff) Standley, all of Horton, one sister Susan (Don) Davis of Tucson, Az. and many nieces and nephews.  She was a devoted wife, mother and sister, a homemaker and hair dresser. She had many hobbies some of which included working in her flower garden, soaking up the sun, and decorating for holidays. She loved animals, watching Hallmark movies, crime dramas shopping with her daughter Kelly, and talking and laughing on the phone with her sister Susan.  Private graveside services were held at Spring Arbor Cemetery.  Those who wish may make contributions to the Cascades Humane Society 1515 Carmen Dr. Jackson, Mi 49202.
