Jesse C. Hall, 84, of Jackson, MI., passed away at home Wednesday, March 11, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.
Born September 17, 1935, in Red Dragon, West Virginia, he was the son of Elbert and Opal Alderman Hall.
Mr. Hall worked for the General Electric Corporation in Cleveland, Ohio, and retired as an Industrial Engineer after 37 years of service. He was a United States Army veteran having served his country during the Korean War era. He attended the Cascade Baptist Church in Jackson, MI. He enjoyed going to his grand children’s school and sporting events and attending family gatherings.
Mr. Hall was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great friend to those that knew him.
Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his mother Opal, father Elbert, brothers Richard and Wilson and his first wife Norma J. (Huss).
Surviving family members include his wife of 20 years, Barbara J. Hall of Jackson, MI, two sisters, Edna (Pete) Condia of Cleveland, Ohio and Loretta (Warren, deceased) Davis of Sandlick, West Virginia; two step sons, Joseph (Brenda) Smith of Portland, MI, and Donald (Paula) Smith of Albion, MI; two step daughters, Linda (David) Tijerina of Puyallup, Washington and Karen Smith of Jackson, MI. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at a later date due to CDC guidelines.
Mr. Hall’s final interment will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon, Ohio.
