Jermey J Thomason

Jermey James Thomason, age 53, passed from this life unexpectedly at his home on June 29, 2026.

He was born on December 26, 1972 in Flint, Michigan to Steven Thomason and Betty Agle. 

Jermey attended Northwest High School and learned skilled trades on the job as a printing press operator. 

Jermey was a dedicated and well-loved employee of Sharidan Books in Chelsea, Michigan since 1989.  He was a printing press operator, designing book covers for many types of books.  His employer speaks highly of him and stated that he had a perfect attendance record and was always willing to help out and teach the younger employees. 

Jermey enjoyed gaming, fishing and going to the shooting range and was an avid football fan.  He was a master of the grill; he could smoke anything and made the best homemade egg noodles!  He enjoyed fixing dinner for family and friends. 

Jermey is survived by his father, Steven Thomason (special friend, Karen Plumb); grandmother, Betty Thomason; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nicole (Jamie) Thomas and Kimberly (Scott) Broughman; nieces, Haven Thomas, Samantha Broughman and Sarah Broughman; nephew, Malachi (Makayla) Broughman and Hutch Thomas. 

He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Agle-Norton; grandparents, Arnold Agle, Pearl Agle and James Thomason; uncles, Tom Thomason and Delbert Agle.

He had a big heart and was always willing to help out when needed.  He was loved by all and will be forever missed.

A Celebration of his Life will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026  with visitation from 5:00pm until the time of service at 6:00pm at Watson Funeral Chapel – 2590 Spring Arbor Road, Jackson, Michigan with Michael D. Mason, Officiating.
