Jeremy Preston Thompson

Jeremy Preston Thompson of Jackson, MI passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the age of 44. He was the son of William A. and Carol Lee (Leonard) Thompson, born October 24, 1974 in Jackson, MI. Jeremy is survived by his father; brother, Matthew C. Thompson; nephew, Jacob W.Thompson; niece, Julia E.Thompson; aunt, Dorothy L. (Larry) Ley; Uncle Harold L. Thompson; special friend, Carol Thomas; and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Lee Thompson. Jeremy loved his family, his cat, Murphy, the great chefs of the world, the Beatles and music generally, and Stanley Kubrick movies. Jeremy was a gifted musician in his own right especially as a keyboard player. He was a sweet and gentle soul with a wonderful sense of humor who will be missed by all who knew him. There will be no services or visitation. There will be a private graveside service for the family. Take comfort in your fondest memories of Jeremy when he was at his best.
