Jeremy Spellman

On Wednesday September 10, 2025 Jeremy “Jerry” Spellman of Spring Arbor Michigan passed away peacefully after a short illness.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Lawrence Spellman. She is survived by her adored children Ken Spellman (Patrice), Barbara Coleman (Terry), five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of other cherished relatives and friends.

A native of Chevy Chase MD., Jerry grew up with her best friend Patty Goldberg where they both learned to climb trees together, and hang out at the local country club.

Dogs were always a part of Jerry’s life with her first dog being a miniature schnauzer and throughout the preceding years, dogs of all sizes and shapes were always present in the home.

The family is grateful for the compassionate caregivers and friends who supported Jerry as her health declined.

Jerry will be remembered for her devotion to family, dogs and chocolate ice cream.

The family will have a private Celebration of Life at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Marion County Animal Services.
