Jeanette Emily (Stitt) Goss

Of Columbus, Ohio formerly of Jackson, MI passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at the age of 96. She was the daughter of Dale and Ada (Sussex) Stitt, born July 2, 1923 in Jackson, MI. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Donald Goss; son-in-law, Robert D. Hudler; grandson, Robert J. Hudler; and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Jill Hudler; son, Daniel Goss; two grandsons, David (Sarah) Hudler and Brian (Katie) Hudler; great-granddaughter, Nicole A. Hudler; several nieces and nephews. She was a 1940 Graduate of VCL High School. Jeanette worked as a secretary for Northwest Schools for over 30+years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, volunteer at W.A. Foote Memorial Hospital in the gift shop for many years. Jeanette enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and boating at many Jackson Lakes, and card games. Jeanette and Don were avid square dancers in the 50’s and 60’s and both loved golf in their later years. She enjoyed her ladies card club continued to her golden years. A celebration of her life will be held at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Monday, March 23, 2020 at 11:00am with Reverend Dr. James D. Hegedus officiating. Interment at Roseland Memorial Gardens. Due to recommended guidelines from the CDC and state and local governments for the amount of people suggested for gatherings the service will be live-streamed through youtube.com at Goss_Jeanette E or through our webpage at watson-funeral-chapels.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jackson Community Food Pantry, 701 Greenwood Ave. Jackson, MI 49203.
