Jean Maxine (Dawson) Hills, Age 99, of Spring Arbor, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Arbor Manor.
Born on Monday, May 25, 1925, the daughter of James Harvey Dawson and Louise Josephine Baker, in Lansing, Michigan.
She is survived by her three children; Ronald (Julie), Richard (Becky), Julie (Kevin) Hartley, Kyle (Deborah) DeMay, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Carroll Q. Hills, daughter Jacqueline DeMay, granddaughter Ashley Hills, her parents and grandparents.
Jean graduated from Jackson High School, and worked for Consumers Power Company prior to becoming a mother of 4. She enjoyed dancing and was an avid member of a local dance club, enjoyed theater productions and was for many years, a volunteer for Foote Hospital.
Services will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024 at Watson Funeral Chapel – 2590 Spring Arbor Road, Jackson, with visitation from 10:00am-11:00am and the service at 11:00am - Reverend Julie Nygaard Officiating.
Interment will take place immediately following the service at East Liberty Cemetery.
