Jay William Sykes

Jay W. Sykes of Parma, passed away November 1, 2021 at the age of 88 years.  Surviving are two daughters; Susan (Michael) Sparling, Mary Darkey, and two sons; Richard (Dorothy) Sykes and Gerald (Renea) Sykes. Ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren, one sister Doris Joyce and one brother Robert (Jean) Sykes. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lester and Morris and one sister Margaret Rogers. He enjoyed sports, especially Springport High School, attending many sporting events through the years.  Mr. Sykes is at the Watson Parma Chapel where services will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 10:00am with Pastor Luis Collazo officiating. Interment Campbell Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Parma Chapel, 10661 W. Michigan Ave. on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 6-8 pm.
