Janet Elaine (Decker) Williams

Of Jackson, Michigan went home to be with her Lord Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the age of 76. Janet was the daughter of Virgil L. and Donna Marie (Tannis) Decker born September 28, 1944 in Jackson, Michigan. She is survived by five children, James J. Vancalbergh, Jeffrey (Micki) Vancalbergh, Tami (Terry) Maynard, Gregory (Becky) Vancalbergh and Bradley (Michelle) Vancalbergh; 10 Grandchildren, Nathan (Shelby) Moss, Jacob (Karley) Vancalbergh, Cameron Vancalbergh “Kortney”, Alyssa (Nicklas) Eddy, Austin (Jessica) Maynard, Andru Maynard, Parker Vancalbergh, Kennedy Vancalbergh, Braden Vancalbergh and Kylie Vancalbergh; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas (Gloria) Decker; sister, Sandy (Michael) Collins; several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, great-granddaughter Lilly; nephew, baby Michael Decker; brother, Robert Decker. Janet was a Jackson High School graduate class of 1962. She worked in office administration at Legends Manufacturing. Janet was a member of Cornerstone Christian Church for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, going to their sporting events, shopping and watching Hallmark Movies. A private service will be held at Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Wednesday, December 23, at 1:00pm, Reverend Devin Robertson officiating. Interment following in Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Christian Church 2395 W. High Street, Jackson, MI 49203
