Janet Carol Huffman, age 85 years of Jackson, Michigan went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from where she resided at Senior Moments of Jackson. She was born on January 19, 1938 in Wauseon, Ohio, the daughter of MaryEllen (George) and Harold Parker. She is survived by her husband, Donald Eugene Huffman of 54 years, her children David Ames of Jerome, Kathy (Robert) DeFranco of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Sandy (James) Thomas of Wilcox, Arizona, Kellie Ames of Hudson, Donnie Huffman of Jackson, Brooke Huffman of Jackson, 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and one sister Shirley (Dean) Spohr of Clayton, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was a 1955 graduate of Hudson High School. Janet was very talented in singing, sewing, knitting, crocheting, creating pictures and puzzles. She is preceded in death by her grandson Kyle Ames, parents MaryEllen and Harold Parker, sister Karen Harter and brother-in-law Dean Spohr. Cremation has taken place and a memorial will be planned at a later date.
