Jan Leone Kloer, age 73, of Crossville, TN, passed away at her home under the care of Hospice on April 29, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Jan was born to Carlisle Turner and Patricia Link on October 2, 1948 in Jackson, MI. She married her soulmate and best friend, Timothy Kloer, on June 6, 1992. They moved to Crossville, TN from Jackson, MI in 2019. Jan worked for Consumers Energy for 23 years until retirement in 2003. Jan loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She also loved fishing, golfing, reading a good book, and traveling the country. She loved going to the casino, attending local plays, and going out for a quiet dinner with her husband.
Jan was preceded in death by her parents; grandsons, Airin Henry and Ronnie Jones; and brother-in-law, Gerald Roth. She is survived by her husband Timothy; daughters, Annette (Mike) Henry, Angela (John) Hubbard; son, Andrew (Patty) Henry; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Jacqueline Roth, Judith (Marty) Metheringham, and Lori Armstrong; brother-in-laws, Dr. James (Jackie) Kloer, and Frank (Lupi) Kloer.
Visitation will be held at the Watson Funeral Chapel, 2590 Spring Arbor Road, Jackson, MI at 1:00-3:00 pm on Sunday, May 8th. Funeral services will be held at Horton Congregational Church, 7724 Moscow Road, Horton, MI on Monday, May 9th at 1:30 pm. Graveside services will be held for the family following the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Jan Kloer to the American Cancer Society or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
