Hendrickson, James Joe, of Spring Arbor, Michigan. went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 6, 2024. James is survived by his wife, Bonnie, his son, Ryan (Anne) Hendrickson, and son, Todd (Bency) Hendrickson, and his daughter-in-law, Matri; his sisters, Kay (Jerry) Brown, Janet (Martin) Ritsch, and MaryLou Dominick. He was a proud Grandfather to 22 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his son, Thomas Hendrickson; his parents, Harold and Phyllis Hendrickson; and his brother, Harold Hendrickson.
James was a Graduate of Jackson High School, class of 1959. He spent 6 years as an Army Reserve, and began his career with his company, Hendrickson Trucking in 1970 until he retired in 2013. Jim was a parishioner at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church in Concord and loved spending time with his family, fishing in Florida and having coffee with his friends at Roosters for many years.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 3:00pm-7:00pm with a 6:30pm Rosary at Watson Funeral Chapel. The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church with Visitation from 9:30am until the time of service at 10:30am. Following mass, his Christian Burial will be held at St. John Cemetery.
