James Edward Beech passed away on June 5, 2026 at the age of 83 surrounded by friends and family and is now reunited with his wife, Dorothy.
He was born January 1, 1943 to Raynor and Mary (Houghtelling) Beech.
James is survived by his son, Michael, his brother, Jerry, sister, Marie, and step-daughter, Beth.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; brothers, Raynor, Gene, and sisters Charlene and Sara.
Jim joined the Army after graduating from Jackson High School and was stationed in South Korea as a military policeman, when he was sprayed with agent orange, which lead to his health being affected later in life. From there, Jim worked as a policeman in Lansing and retired due to his health. He later took to driving trucks for Range Trucking.
Jim was a loving father and friend to all he met and will be dearly missed.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private burial will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan.
