our loving mom, daughter, sister, and aunt passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 24, 2023.  She was born February 27, 2001 in Jackson, Michigan the daughter of Johanna Cavender and James Hammett.  Jadelynn graduated from Northwest High School.  She worked at LifeSpan as a life coach and as a bartender/waitress at the Cadet Tavern in Concord, MI.  Jadelynn was a beautiful person inside and out.  She was always there for anyone who needed help.  She was an amazing mother and loved her beautiful daughter so much.  Jadelynn had a smile that would just light up an entire room.

Jadelynn is survived by her daughter, Aria Skye-Lynn Jones; her parents, Johanna (Nathan) Cavender, James Hammett, and Chad (Angie) Scott; sisters and brothers, Harmony (Javier) Scott, Dejah Scott, Brevin Bartell, Aaliyah Scott, Genesis Scott, Malachi Scott, and Aurora Scott; niece, Ava; Cousins, Owan, Emmalynn, Braxton, and Bryce; and many other family members and friends.

The Celebration of Jadelynn’s life will be from 1:00 – 5:00 P.M. Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the Veterans of Foreign War Post, 230 Mechanic Street, Springport, MI 49284.

For those wishing, contributions in memory of Jadelynn are to a fund for her daughter Aria, in care of Johanna Cavender.
