Jackie Lee Evans

Of Jackson, MI passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at the age of 76. He was the son of Harold and Kathryn Evans, born September 24, 1943 in Terre Haute, IN. Jack is survived by his two children, Vicky Hoover, and Howard Evans; four grandchildren, Charlene Lewis Evans of Wayland, MI, Stephanie Cooper of Concord, MI, Kayla (Jason) Crawford of Concord, MI, and Andrew (Kabri) Cooper of Rives Junction, MI; five great-grandchildren, Caylen, Marissa, Luke, Kinley, and John; brother, David Evans of Texas; sister, Peggy of Lansing. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister-in-law, Nancy Evans. Jack served is country proudly in the United States Army as a sharpshooter. He worked for Clark Equipment for 15 years and would later retire from NSK in Ann Arbor. Jack loved his Goldwing Motorcycle and took it for a month-long trip around the country when he retired. He loved golfing, fishing, bowling, trips to Las Vegas, but most of all spending time with his family. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Friday, September 25, 2020 from 12:00pm-1:00pm. A private family service will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with final expenses or to a charity of one’s choice.
