Ian Thomas Nichols

Ian Thomas Nichols, Age 44, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026.

He was born March 3, 1982 in Los Angeles, California to Rick Nichols and Mari Watson Nichols.

Ian was a graduate of Homer High School and attended Cal Lutheran University.

Ian will be remembered as a free-spirited person who lived life on his own terms.  He enjoyed cooking, reading, and walking his dog, Duke.  He loved his family and marched to his own drum.

He is survived by his father and step-mother, Rick (Anne Taylor) Nichols; his mother, Mari Nichols; siblings, Claire (Justin) Mullins, and Megan Fletcher; nieces, Cora and Isla and nephew, Evan.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents and one uncle.

Ian will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and his beloved dog, Duke.

A Celebration of his Life will be held on July 11, 2026 at 11:00am at the Infinite Light Center, 1805 East Ganson Street, Jackson, Michigan with food and fellowship following.
