Helen Marie (Hines) Yenne

Of Jackson went home to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at the age of 84. Marie was the daughter of Homer A. and Mary Catherine (Hartnett) Hines, born May 28, 1934 in Jackson, MI. She will be incredibly missed by her husband, Fred; four children, Greg Derbyshire, Jackie (John) Barton, Cindy Weese, and Lisa Barnes; five step-children, Sandy (Calvin) Brown, Leonard (Trudy) Yenne, Tina (Ken) Eggleston, Tim (Gina) Yenne, and Fred D. Yenne; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; five brothers, Pat (Donna) Hines, Ray (Carol) Hines, Jerry (Mary) Hines, Jack (Betty) Hines, and Chuck (Leila) Hines; two sisters, Mary Lou (Mac) Ray, and Loretta ( the late Jack) Hays; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; many friends. Marie was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Derbyshire; brother, Kenny; three sisters, Anna, Betty and Ruth.  Marie will be remembered for the pure joy she found in being surrounded by family, her love of reading, trips to the casino, holiday cookie baking, and the countless travels with her beloved husband. A celebration of her life will be held at Clinton Road Bible Baptist Church, 4401 Van Horn Road, Jackson, MI 49201 on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 12:00 PM, Pastor Christopher Bigg officiating, interment Roseland Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions in memory of Marie may be made to Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home, 2150 Kingsbrooke Drive, Jackson, Mi 49202.

The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM.
