Gloria Jean Gauss

Gloria Jean Gauss, age 69, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at her home in Michigan Center, MI.  She was born on September 2, 1954 in Jackson, MI to William A. and Barbara Jean (Schmidt) Markham.  She is survived by her children Jaime Jones and Libby Lashwood; her grandchildren Joel, Kelsea, Hunter, Jacob, Leah and Sammie; great-granddaughter Amelia; brother James Markham and bestie Tammy Miller.  She was preceded in death by her husband Lucas Charles Gauss; her parents and sister NaDella Wyatt.  She is a graduate of Michigan Center High School.  She enjoyed vacationing at the cabin, cooking, canning and gardening.

A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2023 at 11am at Watson Funeral Chapel, 2590 Spring Arbor Road, Jackson, MI officiated by Pastor Bart Hall.  Interment will take place at Leoni Cemetery.

There will be visitation at Watson Funeral Chapel on January 4, 2023 beginning at 10am until the time of service.
