Gerald Allen Lowe

Gerald “Jerry” Lowe passed away on January 19th , 2026. He was the son of Arthur “Art” and Bette Lowe, born June 3rd 1942 in Jackson, Michigan. Jerry is survived by his nieces, Dawn Lowe and Danielle (Kyle) Thwaits, great nieces and nephews: Lucas and Carly Lund, Kenley, Kori, and Kalen Thwaits.

He waspreceded in death by his father and mother, brothers Donald “Don” Lowe and Richard “Dick” Lowe, and great niece Kaylor Thwaits. Jerry graduated from Vandercook Lake High School in 1960. He server our country in the US Army and went on to have a 30-year career with Michigan Bell (AT&T). Jerry enjoyed playing cards and was known for having quite the poker face. Over the years his hobbies included hunting, collecting coins, and drinking coffee (sometimes with a smoke). He liked the company of people and was always a good teaser. Jerry had a positive attitude and a fierce will to live. He was a kind and caring person who made quick friends to those around him.
