Gaylene, age 62, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Henry Ford Hospice Home, in Jackson, Michigan. Gaylene is survived by husband, Michael Augustine; Daughters, Stacey M. and Lee Hooper and 3 grandchildren; brother, Gary and wife Janice; Sister, Gwen Allen, and Gerri (Allen) Johnston; Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; Special friends – CenCare3 staff. Gaylene was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Beulah Allen; and brother, Glenn E. Allen. Gaylene graduated high school and attended one year of college. She worked as an activities assistant at the Gladwin Pines Assisted Living and part-time retail at the Beaverton Pharmacy. She enjoyed traveling even if it involved FISHING and she loved coffee and ice cream! Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at The Arbor Church Chapel, 120 E. Main Street, Spring Arbor, Michigan, with Reverend Gary C. Allen officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. at the church prior to service.
