Gary Michael Milbourne

Gary Michael Milbourne of Jackson, MI went home to be with the Lord on December  16, 2021. He was the son of Fred and Dorothy (Pinegar) Milbourne born on June 8, 1942 in Jackson, MI. Gary is survived by his children Jill (Todd) Barney, Jean (Doug) Foster, Jodie (Rick) Todaro; grandchildren Nick (Angie) Barney, Jake (Melissa) Barney, Jesse (Ally Thomas) Shook, Abbey Tippin, Amanda (Joe Gebhardt) Shook, Devin Shook; great-grandchildren Drew Barney, Emma Barney, Liam Barney, Willow Barney; brothers Dennis (Yvonne) Milbourne, Greg (Marie) Milborune; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friends, Kevin Roberts and Phil VanHorn. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Dorothy; and siblings Virginia McLatcher, Cart Haas, Douglas Milbourne, and Lewis Milbourne.

Gary graduated from Jackson High School. He went on to work for Kimball Produce as a purchaser and salesman while also starting his own business “Gary’s Home Improvement.” Gary spent the rest of his working career at Dowley Manufacturing where he retired as a 2nd shift foreman. Gary enjoyed farming, woodworking, rodeo, taking his grandchildren to the fair, and all things Christmas. According to his request, cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at Watson Funeral Chapel, 2590 Spring Arbor Rd, Jackson, MI on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 11:00am with Michael D. Mason officiating. Inurnment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Park.  The Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 10:00am until the time of service.
