Everett Britten Horsford of Jackson, went to be with the Lord, March 27, 2024 age 92 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Vera Horsford (Churchill) and his brother Edward Horsford. Surviving are one son, Bradley (Moreen) Horsford of Clarklake and one daughter, Julie (Wayne) Butler of Kempner, TX; eight grandchildren Jared, Jessica, Sarah, Britten, Alan, Sylvia, Elysse and Veronica; numerous great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He served his country as an Airport Control Operator in the U. S. Air Force. Retired from Omni Source and was a member of Ganson Street Baptist, Bethel Baptist and Cornerstone Christian Church. Everett loved traveling with his wife in his motorhome and spending winters together at their condo in Florida. He also loved listening to Vera play the piano and deer hunting.
Mr. Horsford is at the Watson Funeral Chapel where services will be held Saturday April 6, 2024 at 12 noon, Michael D. Mason officiating. Visitation from 11:00am until the time of service. Interment will follow at Spring Arbor Cemetery.
