Esther Rose Obituary

Born 1929 February 23 in Mound Valley, Kansas. Died 2020 October 9, in Jackson, MI. She suffered 20 years from a brain tumor then from CoViD19 virus. Esther graduated in 1947 from Spring Arbor Academy and held a variety of clerical jobs for 50 years and sang soprano in numerous choirs in New York City. Her travels included Chicago, Flint, California, Mexico, Europe, and Africa. Already deceased are her parents, Rev. Julian and Bernice Deichman Rose and brother Julian (Donna Lou Cobb), and a nephew, Val Rose. Esther’s other brother, Dr. Frank E. (Florence Reid) Rose, and ten nieces and nephews survive. Her cremains will join her mother in Port Crane, New York (closed) Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to Spring Arbor University.
