Elwood "Stick" Norman Fairley

Elwood N. “Stick” Fairley of Jackson, passed away August 5, 2022 age 87 years.  He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Shirley, one son Mitch (Kristi) Fairley of Jackson, many nieces and nephews.  He was a graduate of Jackson High School Class of 1952, served his country with the U.S. Army in Korea from 1953-1955, retired from Consumers Power in 1991 after 36 years of service.  Stick was a longtime member of Arbor Hills Country Club and was a member of Lexington Country Club, Ft. Meyers, Florida where he was the Club Champion in 2002 and 2005, he has three holes-in-one in his golf career. He loved his family and his dog Sophie.

Mr. Fairley is at the Watson Funeral Chapel where services will be held Wednesday August 10, 2022 at 11:00 am Michael D. Mason officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-7 pm and Wednesday from 10:00am until the time of service.  Contributions may be made to Henry Ford Health Hospice of Jackson 2150 Kingsbrooke Dr. Jackson, MI 49202 or the Alzheimer’s Association Great Lakes Chapter, 564 S.
