Of Jackson, Michigan, passed away at Henry Ford Allegiance Health on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the age of 83. Elmer was the son of Elmer Bradley Sr. and Minerva (Risner) Bradley, born September 12, 1935 in Seneca County, Ohio. He was preceded in death by three sons, Michael, Scott and Lenny Bradley; step-daughter, Terry Saterlee; three brothers, Edward, Robert, and Jerry Bradley; sister, Erleen Bradley, and his parents. Elmer is survived by four children, Sherry Furtak, Steven Bradley, Jennifer Craft, and David Bradley; many step-children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; brother, John Bradley; sister Sue Bradley; former wife and good friend, Gloria Sheets. Elmer attended West Intermediate School and Jackson High School. He retired from Kelsey-Hayes Corporation after 30 years of service. He enjoyed sun bathing, fixing, buying and selling cars, running the guitar store, and hanging out with his friends at the Dunkin Donut Shop in Jackson. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge 612, 501 Detroit Street, Jackson, MI 49201 at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Elmer may be made to the family to help with final expenses.
