Obituary

Elaine Kay Masten of Parma, MI passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023 at the age of 73. She was the daughter of Eugene and Betty Shelton, born November 25, 1949 in Illinois. Elaine is survived by her husband of 53 years, but together for 58 years Frank Masten.; her children, Danny (Dina), Shannon (Jason), Shee (Duane), and Casey; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and one brother. Elaine was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in Taylor, MI. She was a homemaker and enjoyed being a mother, wife, and grandmother. Elaine will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 12:00pm with Michael D. Mason officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with medical and funeral expenses.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am until the time of service at 12:00pm.
