Edna Marie Walters

Edna M. Walters,, our loving wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma was called unexpectedly home to her Lord on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.  Born February 8, 1939 to Edward and Ada Brown in Jackson, Michigan.

Edna is survived by Gerald Lee Walters, Sr, husband of 65 years; 3 children, Gerald (Laurie) Walters, Jr., Constance Merling, and Kimberly (Kevin) Hill; grandchildren, Brian Walters, Crystal Parney, Derie Kampf, Elizabeth Murphy, Chase Merling, Emily Barton, Jamie Walters, Jennifer Gilbert, Jessica Young, Skylar Walters, Chelsea Forrest, and Cayla Hill; along with 8 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings; daughter, Nancy Walters; son, James; and grandson, Aaron. 

She was a 1957 graduate of Jackson High School.  She worked as a beautician until she retired.  She enjoyed golfing, bowling, and sporting events.  She was an avid member of New Horizons Community Church for years.  She was loved by many friends and family.
