Dr. Brent H. Bierwirth

Dr. Brent H. Bierwirth of Jackson passed away on December 21, 2020 at the age of 69 years. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mary, one son, Scott (Kate) Bierwirth of Plymouth, one daughter, Laura (Jason) Norris of Jackson, and six grandchildren: Harper, Livia, Greyson, Aiden, Ashton, and Calvin. Also surviving are his mother, Virginia Bierwirth of Jackson, one brother Bradley Bierwirth of Mt. Clemons, MI, one sister, Jennifer Mayster (Bryan) of Scottsdale, AZ, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna Bierwirth, along with his father, Herbert Bierwirth.

Brent earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan in 1976 and enjoyed practicing dentistry in the Jackson community for 35 years, retiring in 2011. He was an avid Michigan football fan and had season tickets for over 40 years. Brent enjoyed many athletic activities such as downhill skiing, golfing, bowling, softball, and tennis. He also loved traveling, boating, and spending time entertaining their family and friends at their home on the lake. 

Dr. Bierwirth is at the Watson Funeral Chapel where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Kurt Norris officiating. Private interment will be held at Roseland Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Compassionate Ministries of Jackson County (www.cmjackson.org).

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, attendance of 25 people and all must wear a mask.
