Dorothy J Brewington

Dorothy Jean (Pratt) Brewington, Age 93, of Jackson, passed away on September 14, 2025.

She was born to Charles and Dorcas (Stephenson) Pratt, in Durand, Michigan. 

Dorothy spent many years working as an Aide for the Jackson County Medical Care Facility and enjoyed crafting, puzzles, and reading for hobbies. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carlen Brewington; her parents, Charles and Dorcas Pratt; and her siblings, Bob Pratt; Harriet Johnson; and Phyllis Pratt. 

Dorothy is survived by her brother, Donald Pratt; her sons, Jerry (Janet) Brewington; Dan Brewington; and her daughter, Carla (Ben Cuttlers) Ruby; grandchildren, Jerry (Emily) Brewington; Jessica (Tim) Tyler; Danielle (Ben) Perry; Danye (Kaylan) Brewington; Michael Ruby; Christopher (Kati) Ruby; Michelle Ruby; and 15 great-grandchildren.

There will be a Graveside Service held at Oak Grove Cemetery, Owosso, Michigan, September 18, 2025 beginning at 2:00pm with Pastor Rick Bishop, officiating.
