It is with great sadness that the family of Doris Edinger of Jackson announces her passing on August 14th, 2024, at the age of 86.
She will lovingly be remembered by her husband of 66 years Richard, Children, Kimberly Dangler, Mark (Brenda) Edinger, Terry (Kim) Edinger. Grandchildren: Shawna Gerry, Autumn (Andy) Uyttenhove, Andy (Natalee) Edinger, Nick Edinger, Shelby Haberkam & Brooke Wheeler. And numerous great grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by her siblings Marilyn Loveland, Janet Ellis, Bob Stoker & Ruth Stoker as well as many beloved friends and neighbors. Preceded in death by her parents Raymond & Bessie Stoker, her daughter Lori Wheeler and 9 siblings.
Doris was a devoted homemaker, who took great pride in caring for her family as well as numerous neighborhood children and ran an in-home daycare caring for children for 30 years. In her free time, she was a talented artist who poured, fired, and painted her own ceramics. Often gifting them to friends & family. She was a kind and generous soul who always put others before herself. Her strong spirit, soft smile and sharp sense of humor will be missed by all who loved her.
Services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday August 20th at Watson Funeral Home. Doris was an avid nature lover. She loved all flowers, greenery, and most of all birds. As an avid floral enthusiast, the family is requesting flowers of all sorts of colors and type to fill the funeral home with as much beauty as Doris shared with the world.
