Of Jackson, MI went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 8, 2022 surrounded by her husband and children at the age of 72. She was the daughter of Belford and Betty Teeters, born June 18, 1949 in Noblesville, IN. Diana is survived by her mother, Betty Teeters; her husband of just a few months short their 50th anniversary, Dennis Hill; her children, Brian (Angela) Hill, Lindsay (Eric) Dodds, Mark (Alexa) Hill; nine grandchildren, Madeleine, Adrian, Kylie, Silas, Ellery, Evynn, Emmaline, Gehrig, and Baker; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Belford Teeters; and brother, Allen Teeters. Diana graduated from Western Michigan University in 1971 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies and Social Work. Diana taught the 4th Grade in Onsted, MI for 5 years before starting a family. The next 23 years were dedicated to raising her 3 children. When the kids were grown and gone, Diana spent the next 18 years managing the Spring Arbor Branch Public Library, retiring in 2014. Dennis and Diana joined the First United Methodist Church in Jackson in the late 70’s. Diana was very active in their church choir, Evening Guild, and Never Without a Friend Group. She loved history, traveling, and their annual Family Camping Trip to Pentwater. Reading and walking were always on her daily to do list. Spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, brought her so much joy. In her younger years, Diana was a Dutch Dancer in Holland, MI and enjoyed sewing. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 275 W. Michigan Ave., Jackson, MI 49201 on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 12:00pm (Noon) with Reverend Tonya Arnesen officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 10:30am until the time of service. Interment will take place at a later date at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsdale, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan Mast ALS Foundation or to First United Methodist Church.
