Diana G. Duguid, age 84 years of Parma passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 15, 1941 in Logan, West Virginia, the oldest daughter of Estil M. Lewis and Frieda (Adkins) Lewis.
After relocating to Michigan, Diana met and married Gary P. Duguid the love of her life and began raising their six children in Jackson, MI. She graduated from high school and advanced in her career becoming a licensed optician and retail optical manager. Diana was a devoted Christian. Faithfully sharing her love for Jesus with anyone who crossed her path. After retiring in 2008 she enjoyed traveling, reading her Bible, spending time with family and rooting for her beloved Michigan State Spartan teams.
Diana is survived by five children, Sherry Gaudette, Stephen Duguid, Susan (Scott)Ray, Scott (Rebecca) Duguid, Nicole (Anthony) Landenberger. 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren plus one on the way. A sister Linda Southwick, brothers in-law Roger Duguid, David (Marylou) Duguid and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Preceded in death by Gary, her precious husband of 68 years, daughter Shelby Marie, her parents, brother Philip Lewis and his wife Diane.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, April 13, 2026, at the Chapel Cemetery in Parma, Mi with Pastor John Masters officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow at 12500 W. Michigan Ave., Parma, MI 49269.
