Dennis Michael Booth

Dennis Michael Booth, 79, of Jackson, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 19, 2024, with his kids by his side.  His absence leaves a void in our hearts, and will be greatly missed.   

Dennis is the son of Lillian and Morris Booth, born January 15, 1945 in Jackson, MI.  He is survived by his children, Erik (Judy) Booth, Holly (Andy) Iuni, Beth (Duane) Hafner, and Heather (Ken) Kelso.  Grandchildren, Logan (Haleigh) Colby, Devin Abbey, Kaitlyn Booth, Maisy Kelso and Khloe Booth.  Brothers, Phil (Mary) Booth, Tom Booth, Sister Mary Anne Booth, and special friend, Vicki Fountain. He was preceded in death by his Parents.

He is a 1964 graduate of St. John’s High School. Dennis retired as a surveyor with over 43 years of dedicated service and multiple awards from MDOT.  Dennis was an enthusiast of the Civil War, University of Michigan, and music.  He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and puffing on one of his many pipes.

A celebration of his life will be held at Watson Funeral Chapel, Friday, May 24, 2024 at 2:00pm with Father Timothy McDonald officiating.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm and Friday, May 24, 2024 from 1:00pm until the time of service.   

He will be greatly missed, but all who loved and cared from him will join him again in Heaven.  We welcome all who knew him to join us in celebrating the life of a man who was loved deeply and will be missed.
