Deanna Mary (Winans) Brandt, Age 87, of Jackson, Michigan passed away on April 11, 2026.
She was born May 23, 1938 in Jackson, Michigan to William and Leora (Boobyer) Winans.
Deanna was a graduate of Jackson High School and was married to Kenneth Carl Brandt for 57 years and together, they had four daughters. She worked for Polly’s Market, but her main focus was being a loving mother and housewife, and eventually, grandma and great-grandma.
She enjoyed camping, quilting, bowling, fishing, Nascar, and going to the casino. She especially loved family gatherings, bingo, and bonfires.
Deanna was a life-long member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, numerous sewing clubs, and helped with the backpack program for Hunt School.
She is survived by her brother, Don Winans; daughters, Cathy (Bob) Showerman, Sandy Savoie, Carolyn (Dave) Frazer, Diana (Don) Connelly; grandchildren, Louie Savoie, Rob (Amber) Showerman, and Billy Showerman, Brian (Stephanie) Showerman, Ina Yuchasz, Ginger (Mark) Debo, April Frazer, T.J. Hamilton, Kyle Hamilton, Casie Hamilton; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Deanna is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Brandt; her parents, William and Leora Winans; brothers, William Winans, Larry Winans, and sister, Joanna Cook; nephew, David Cook.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am – held at Redeemer Lutheran Church – 3637 Spring Arbor Road, Jackson with Pastor Zach Holdorf, Officiating.
There will be a luncheon immediately following the service for friends and family.
Interment immediately following the service at Fairview Cemetery – Parma, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her honor can be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
