David H. “Pat” Moredick of Jackson, formerly of Parma, MI went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 3, 2024 at his home. He was the son of William and Elizabeth (Epp) Moredick, born March 17, 1928 in Fairbury, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, whom he married August 20, 1950, Jeanette A. (Wennekamp) Moredick and his second wife, Norma Weers; son, Paul Moredick; daughter-in-law, Dianne; and his parents. He is survived by two sons, Michael (Schelli) Moredick of Mesa, Arizona, and Arthur (Debbie) Moredick of Wayland, MI; two daughters, Holly (Douglas) Allen of Parma, and Ruth (Greg) Piper of Parma; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren. David was a 1954 graduate of Iowa State University; he served his country in the United State Navy during WWII. Mr. Moredick was an Electrical Engineer at Consumers Energy, retiring after 31 years of service. He enjoyed his quiet time and reading. According to his wishes cremation has taken place, there will be no service.
