Our loving dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the age of 93 years.  Born August 7, 1930 in Inez, Kentucky the son of Frank C. and Maggie Goble.  He retired in 1983 from Walker Manufacturing in the production department after 32 years of service.  He enjoyed bowling, fishing, squirrel hunting, and working in his yard and gardens.

David is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Karen L. & Gary L.  Merritt; 5 grandchildren, Scott (Karri) Worden, Tasha (Anthony) Knight, Jaime (David) Lawrence, Leigh Hayes, and Brock Merritt; 9 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.  David was preceded in death by his wife, Hannah Jean Goble in 2015; daughter, Denise Ann DeLand in 2016; and 13 brothers and sisters.

The Celebration of David’s life will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.  The Rev.
