July 1, 2024, of Onondaga, joined his wife of almost 50 years, Gail who preceded him in death in January 2022.
He is survived by two daughters; Cheryl Binschus, of Rives Jct. and Laura Huey of Onondaga, four grandchildren; Tyler (Miranda) Binschus, Codie (Danny) Neely, Alexas (Marcus) Dangler and Jacob Huey, nine great-grandchildren; Winston, Leigh, Ryleigh, Lyndi, Ava, Paislee, Marcus Jr., Michael and Remington. and one sister Darnell (Keith) Chapman and seven nieces. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Mark Karchefski and his son-in-law James Binschus, both in 2023. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy from 1966-1969 and an Over the Road truck driver for over 40 years. He enjoyed training horses for harness racing, visiting the casinos, hunting and fishing. Mr. Bonsor is at the Watson Funeral Chapel where services will be held Wednesday July 10, 2024 at 2:00pm, Michael D. Mason officiating. Visitation from 1:00pm until the time of service. Contributions may be made to the family to help with final expenses.
