Constance "Connie" Lee Gormley, age 75, of Concord, Michigan, passed away peacefully at her home on August 20, 2025 with her beloved husband by her side.
Born on September 9, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan, Connie was the daughter of the late Jack and Ginny Pattinson. She grew up in Redford, where she graduated from Redford Union High School. She went on to earn her Bachelor's degree in Linguistics from Western Michigan University and later a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from St. Francis University in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She enjoyed her career as a mental health therapist serving children and families for several years.
For more than five decades, Connie shared her life with her husband, Michael Gormley. Their 53 years of marriage were filled with love, partnership, and devotion.
Connie is survived by her husband, Michael, and her older sister, Donna. She was preceded in death by her parents and her younger sister, Kathy.
She will be remembered for her warmth, wisdom, and kind spirit, which touched the lives of family, friends and all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on September 17, 2025 at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church beginning at 12:30pm with her Catholic Memorial Mass beginning at 1:00pm with Father Tim MacDonald, presiding.
