Irvin, Colleen C. “Koko”
Age 69, of Parma, MI went to be home with the Lord July 9, 2025 after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born September 13, 1955. She is survived by her loving husband and caretaker Robert, “B.J.” Irvin of 26 years. She had 2 daughters, Jodi (Ryan) Cornell, Kira (Andy) Betts and one step-son, Joseph Irvin. Colleen was the best Nana to her two granddaughters, (Kira and Andy Betts children), Addi and Layton. They were her world.
She is proceeded in death by her Mother Evelyn Jonas and brother Stan Jonas.
She was a graduate of Jackson High, Class of 1973.
Koko was a devoted employee of Polly’s Country Market and retired after 33 years of service. You couldn’t get through the produce department without seeing her smiling face. She enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine with her husband talking, potlucks with her friends, and watching anything her granddaughters did.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday July 15 from 4-7 P.M. at Watson Funeral Chapel – 2590 Spring Arbor Road, Jackson. The recitation of the Rosary will be held beginning at 6:30 P.M. Family will also receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church, 1111 Carlton Blvd., Jackson, with the Memorial Mass beginning at 1:00 P.M.
