Claudia Trolz

Claudia Trolz of Jackson, passed away May 8, 2022 age 86 years.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, James ‘Jim”; one sister Maxine Flood; two brothers Alan and Orvis Nichols.  Survived by one daughter Lisa (Stephen) Hunt and one son J. (Julie) Trolz all of Jackson, three grandchildren; Rachel Hunt, (Brandon Van Dyke), Ally and Gavin Trolz, two sisters-in-law Jeanie and Betty Nichols, numerous nieces and nephews. 

Claudia graduated from Jackson High School, class of 1954. She loved reading, devouring a book a day, cooking and sports, especially her “Cubbies.”  There wasn’t a restaurant she didn’t try once. Her sunny disposition and sense of humor made her loved by many as she was cracking jokes up to the day she passed. Her family and friends were everything to her. Cremation has taken place. 

According to her wishes a party to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. Inurnment will take place in the Memorial Rose Garden at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.  Contributions in her memory may be made to Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home 2150 Kingsbrooke Dr. Jackson, MI 49202 or the Cascades Humane Society, 1515 Carmen Dr., Jackson, MI 49202.
